LDC investment in Stonbury recognised at Central and East Dealmakers

LDC took home Private Equity Deal of the Year at Insider’s Central and East of England Dealmakers Awards 2023 for its investment in leading water and environmental sustainability specialist Stonbury.

The awards, which spotlight the achievements and contributions of the Central and East of England dealmaking community, were held in Milton Keynes last night.

LDC’s East Midlands and East of England team won Private Equity Deal of the Year in recognition of its significant investment in Bedfordshire-based Stonbury and the positive economic impact it will have on the region as Stonbury ‘will be able to drive growth and create jobs locally.’

LDC’s partnership with the business is enabling Stonbury to continue to expand organically and through acquisition, whilst the management team remains in control of the company.

Investment Manager Nicole Wong was also shortlisted in the Emerging Dealmaker of the Year category. Nicole joined LDC’s East Midlands and East of England team in 2022 and played a leading role in the firm’s investment in Stonbury.
